Photos tell the truth faster than any promise we could write down. What we say we do only matters if the proof backs it up. So we document every job, start to finish: standing water before extraction, drying progress by the day, and the final walkthrough when your place looks like home again rather than a science experiment. Orange County homes hide water in places you’d never expect until the evidence shows up. Most of these jobs started the same way yours might have, with a small stain and a question: how bad is it really?

Every project below is real work our crew completed in Orange County. We’ve left out names and street addresses out of respect for the homeowners, but the details on moisture levels, drying times, and equipment used are exactly what happened on site.
Kitchen Slab Leak in Huntington Beach
Before
After
Before
AfterA homeowner called us after noticing their oak flooring had started to cup near the kitchen island, a classic sign of a slab leak that’s been feeding water upward for weeks. We isolated the source, extracted standing water from under the flooring, and set up containment with a Dri-Eaz dehumidifier and Phoenix air movers running continuously for five days. The subfloor had to be replaced in a 10-by-12-foot section, but we were able to match the existing hardwood so the repair disappears into the room. Total time from first call to final walkthrough: nine days.
Mold Remediation in a Laguna Niguel Attic
Before
After
The homeowner called because they could smell something musty every time they opened the attic hatch, and a home inspection had flagged “suspect microbial growth” on the sheathing. Our crew found the bathroom exhaust fan had been venting warm, humid air directly into the attic for what looked like years, creating ideal conditions for mold on roughly 60 square feet of sheathing. We removed the affected insulation, treated the sheathing under IICRC standards, replaced the insulation with new R-38 batts, and rerouted the vent through the roof with a proper termination cap. The before photo below shows what we walked into. The after photo shows an attic you could eat lunch in.
Water Heater Failure in a Fullerton Garage

Overnight failures are the worst, because the water has eight hours to travel before anyone notices. This Fullerton garage had a 40-gallon tank that split at the seam, sending water through the garage and into the adjacent laundry room. We extracted roughly 30 gallons from the garage slab and removed the wet drywall on both sides of the shared wall. Drying took four days with Injectidry drying mats placed inside the wall cavity, pulling moisture out without tearing the entire wall apart. The final scope included new drywall, fresh paint, a new water heater, and new baseboards. The written price for all of it was on the table before the first cut was made.
Storm Water Intrusion in a Corona del Mar Basement

Everyone thinks basements don’t flood in Orange County, until a winter storm lines up with a saturated hillside and a drainage system that hasn’t been cleaned in a decade. This Corona del Mar basement took an inch of water across the finished carpet in about two hours. We extracted with a truck-mounted unit, removed the carpet pad, and set up three B-Air fans with a dehumidifier running for six days. The pad and carpet were replaced, the baseboards got new paint, and the homeowner added a sump pump after we pointed out the drainage issue during the dry-out. They appreciated that the problem didn’t get buried under new carpet.
Flooded Laundry Room from a Broken Supply Line in Irvine

This Irvine homeowner came home to water running out from under the laundry room door, the supply line to the washing machine having split during the day. The water had traveled down the hallway and into a closet on the other side. We stopped the source first, then extracted from the tile floor and pulled the wet baseboards so the drywall behind them could dry. The tile itself was fine, but the wall cavity needed Injectidry mats for three days. We put it all back together with new baseboards and a fresh coat of paint in the affected areas. The homeowner now turns the water off at the wall when they leave for more than a weekend, and so do we at our own places.
